Eric Maroyka

Biographical Info
Eric joined the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) in May 2016 as the Director, Center on Pharmacy Practice Advancement.
Previously, he was the Pharmacy Manager/Director at Fauquier Health in Warrenton, Virginia. Eric also served over 22 years as a commissioned pharmacy officer in the U.S. Army working in a variety of clinical, operational, and leadership roles within the Military Health System spanning both acute and ambulatory care environments.
He earned his B.S. and Pharm.D. degrees from Rutgers University and completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dr. Maroyka is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and is a graduate of the Pharmacy Leadership Institute.
Eric resides in Fairfax, Virginia with his wife of over 22 years and their two daughters, one in college and one college bound. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his family, baseball, hiking, and volunteering his time to help those in need.
