Amelia StansellVice President & Community Executive Middleburg Bank
Amelia J. Stansell joined Middleburg Bank as the Community Executive and Commercial Relationship Manager in October 2014 after eight years with BB&T. Amelia uses her experience from financial planning and as a small business owner to help her clients with their business planning, and financial growth strategies. She has a large portfolio of commercial clients predominately in Fauquier and Prince William Counties. As a skilled facilitator, Amelia has led strategic planning sessions for the Experience Old Town Warrenton Board of Directors, Town of Warrenton Economic Development Department and Leadership Fauquier Class of 2018. Her passion for developing leaders has led her to earn her DDI Certification and become an Adjunct Professor at Lord Fairfax Community College where she facilitates leadership curriculum in the Leadership Institute and hosted the local Leadercast>Women program in the Fall of 2017 and 2018.
She believes in serving her community. She is currently the co-chair of the Fauquier County Human Trafficking Prevention Project; Board member for the Rotary Club of Warrenton; Rotary District 7610 Membership and Public Image Assistant District Governor serving the Wine Country; Chairman of Experience Old Town Warrenton; Board Member and Governance Chair for the Be The Change Foundation; Advisory Board member for the Mason Enterprise Center; and Past President and Legislative committee chair of the Greater Warrenton Chamber of Commerce; Past President of the Haymarket Gainesville Business Association and Gainesville Haymarket Rotary Club. Amelia is a graduate of Leadership Fauquier, class of 2017 and was recognized as the 2015 Center District Citizen of The Year by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors and was featured in the 2017 SHE Means Business edition of the Fauquier Times Business Journal.
In her spare time, Amelia enjoys reading, traveling, golfing, gardening, cooking and recently took up playing a ukulele. She lives in Warrenton with her husband, Troy, and their two daughters, Amelia Grace and Bitsy; and their crazy orange tabby cat, Butchie.
